Is your son ready to join Cub Scouts? Pack 639's annual Scouting For School Night will be held on September, 14 2011 in the Marion Elementary cafeteria from 7:00-8:00 pm!

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

There is a reason for everything boys do in Cub Scouting. Apart from the fun and excitement, the aim of Cub Scouting is to help boys grow into good citizens who are strong in character and personally fit. This is why we say that Cub Scouting is fun with a purpose. The values we strive to instill are based on those found in the Cub Scout Promise and the Law of the Pack.

Blue and Gold

The Cub Scouts of America colors are blue and gold. They have special meaning, which will help boys see beyond the fun of Cub Scouting to its ultimate goals. The blue stands for truth and spirituality, steadfast loyalty, and the sky above. The gold stands for warm sunlight, good cheer and happiness.
