Service Projects
As a part of our "Friendly Service" purpose, the Cub Scouts of Pack 639 engage in many service activities throughout the year. Each winder the Pack supports the "Scouting for Food" program - helping to supply our local food pantries. The Pack also supports several Allen Community Outreach initiatives, including the "Fill the Bus" school supplies drive.
The Pack also supports our local environment. In the spring of 2008, the Pack officially adopted the Greenville Heights park area (next to Marion Elementary) as apart of the City of Allen's Adopt a Waterway program. The park is cleaned several times a year by the Scouts. The Scouts also participate in the local Arbor Day Activities
