Pack Organization
The Pack is organized into Dens of five to eight boys of the same grade level. These Dens are led by at least two parents of the boys in the den. one will be the Den Leader and another will be the Assistant Den Leader. Dens meet two to three times a month (once a week, with the remaining week reserved for the Pack Meeting), at a location and time arranged by the Den Leader.

Monthly Pack Activities
The Pack likes to have a Pack activity each month. This could be as simple as a nature hike or going miniature golfing. Some events come pre-planned and only need to be executed, like Scout Night at the Rodeo. Each Den will get the opportunity to host a Pack activity. These activities will only happen with the help of the Den parents. It is not meant to be shouldered by just the Den leaders.

Camping Activities
There are several family camping opportunities during the year, depending on your Scout's rank. There are also summer camps held each year for the Scouts and their parent(s)/guardian.

Den Meeting Times and Places
The time and place of the weekly Den meetings is up to the Den Leader. It is common for the location to be rotated among the homes of the boys. Den meetings should initially be held a minimum of twice a month and move to three times a month once you become comfortable with the program. These meetings, along with the Pack Meeting, will help the Scouts maintain an interest in the program.

Den Dues
Each Den has the option of charging monthly Den Dues to offset the cost of operating the Den. These dues would normally be used to cover the cost of materials used in the Den Meeting craft projects and/or refreshments. Dues do not normally exceed $2-$3 per month. Each Den should keep a record of who has paid and who has not. Delinquency and special circumstances related to Den Dues should be handled within the Den.

Uniforms
Uniforms are required for the boys at all Den and Pack activities, unless otherwise directed by your Den Leader (for Den meetings) or Cub Master (for Pack meetings and activities). The only uniform items required by the Pack, for all ranks, are the Shirt, Belt and Buckle, Neckerchief, and the Neckerchief slide. Other items (hat, pants, etc.) can be purchased if desired. If scout shorts are worn, scout socks must also be worn.
Uniforms (and other supplies) can be purchased locally at the Scout shops in Allen, Dallas, Lewisville, Sherman, and Irving or at Elliot's Hardware in Plano. Each Scout should have their uniforms by the November Pack meeting.
